Class B Inspections

What are class B recreational vehicles?

Class B recreational vehicles are smaller motorhomes typically built on a van chassis. These smaller motorhomes are usually easier to drive, being built on a van chassis. However, even with their small size they can contain many features found on larger recreational vehicles. With their smaller size, class B recreational vehicles are appealing to individuals who want or need to get into tighter spaces or smaller campgrounds.

Class B recreational vehicle inspections

Class B recreational vehicles have a lot of technology packed into a small space. Increasingly, manufacturers are placing complex solar systems on these vehicles. Additionally, class B recreational vehicles have both motors and the undercarriage, which should also be inspected. With all the technology and items packed into such a small space inspecting a class B recreational vehicle can be challenging. At RV P. I. we have inspected numerous class B recreational vehicles. Our inspections typically last a minimum of five to seven hours. However, we plan for all day, when conducting an inspection on a class B recreational vehicle. Having all day for an inspection allows us to plan for any unforeseen circumstances that might arise during the inspection. When you are considering purchasing either a new or used class B recreational vehicle you should plan on hiring RV P. I. to conduct an independent inspection for you.
